City of Last Chances won the Best Translated Novel Award at the 36th Galaxy Awards in China
Adrian was overjoyed to find that his novel, City of Last Chances, the first of the "Tyrant Philosophers" series, won the Best Translated Novel at the prestigious 36th Galaxy Awards (Yinhe Awards) held this year on 19 September 2025 at Chengdu in China.
Congratulations also go to Li Keqin, the translator, who has done an amazing job. The cover is absolutely phenomenal as well. Here it is in all its glory.

This is the first glimpse of the amazing Chinese cover to part one of the House of Open Wounds in Science Fiction World.
Another recent arrival at Portia House was this translation by Lee Na-kyung of Alien Clay for fans in Korea. The Korean cover is beautiful, with psychedelic and light reflective elements.
