Portia House was full of rejoicing today as Adrian won two awards in the 2025 Goonhammer Book Awards!

"Recently the Warhammer site, Goonhammer, held a poll for favourite Warhammer reads of 2025, and I’m delighted to find that my novel, Starseer’s Ruin, came out well! Not only did it come out top in the Age of Sigmar category (Warhammer’s main fantasy setting) but by a very narrow margin I also came away with their Best Writer category. I’ve been writing for Black Library for a while – in fact the only outside franchise I’ve written for. Getting this nod from BL readers definitely makes me feel that I’ve arrived as part of a longstanding tradition full of exceptional authors. Thank you!”
