New International Releases
New international releases of Adrian's novels arrived at Portia House today in the shape of the beautiful Italian and Czech translations of Lords of Uncreation, the third book in the Final Architects series.
I Signori Della Distruzione has been translated by Bianca Giolitti and Vládci Nestvůrnosti translated by Milan Pohl.
Also in the parcel was the lovely new Polish edition of Children of Time translated by Robert Lipski.
New Tyrant Philosopher Cover Reveals!
We have the covers for not one but two upcoming Tyrant Philosophers books to show you!
This year sees the release of the novella Lives of Bitter Rain which looks at the early career of Angilly from Days of Shattered Faith, how she entered the espionage game and some of her younger escapades. As with all the series to date this can be read on its own, but regular readers can expect a few familiar faces to turn up as well.
There will be a Goldsboro special edition of this book as well, to match the previous volumes.
Next year will bring the next full novel in the series, Pretenders to the Throne of God (which title suggests something of an escalation!). New and old characters find their destiny in the embattled city of Eres Ffenegh, with a full complement of demons, renegades, fools and cultists.
Again, readable on its own, but as the series goes on the number of connecting strands between works is only going to grow.
These beautiful covers are the work of the series’ regular artist, Joe Wilson, who has performed his usual magic bringing the details of each book to life. We’re particularly pleased with the stoat!
